Family-Run
Located in the peaceful rural community of Binbrook, southeast of Hamilton, Ontario, Countryview Labradors is a family-run breeding program led by Marcella, supported by my husband Case, and our daughter Violet. Nestled on our quiet 4-acre property, we raise exceptional Silver, Charcoal, and Champagne Labrador Retrievers that blend the best qualities of both English and American lines.
Our family has a lifelong passion for animals, and a deep respect for the Labrador breed. Together, we work to ensure that each puppy we raise becomes a loving, dependable, and well-adjusted member of your family.
How It All Began
Our journey began in 2021, when Marcella welcomed two beautiful Charcoal Labrador Retriever puppies Ember and Maya, a pair of sisters flown in from a registered breeder in Manitoba. From the moment they arrived, Marcella was drawn to their sweet temperaments, calm nature, and their impressive ability to learn, even as young pups.
But the passion for animals and responsible breeding had been there long before. As a child, Marcella dreamed of raising animals, especially dogs. She grew up with a loyal Black Labrador who became her closest companion, and had the privilege of learning from her mother, a professional breeder, who taught her what ethical breeding truly looks like.
Shortly after Ember and Maya joined the family, Marcella added a Silver Labrador Retriever named Boomer to the mix. His gentle spirit and eagerness to please confirmed what Marcella had already known - Labradors weren’t just pets; they were family. This was the foundation of Countryview Labradors.
Our Journey & Values
Marcella’s upbringing on a farm, her love for animals, and her family background in responsible breeding all shaped the values of Countryview Labradors. We are a small-scale breeder, which allows us to focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each puppy receives the attention and care they deserve.
Our dogs are more than just breeding dogs—they are true members of our family. Raised inside our home, our puppies grow up surrounded by love, nature, and the everyday life of our family. They thrive in a calm, structured environment, with plenty of space to explore and learn.

We are proud to breed Labradors in Silver, Charcoal, and Champagne, three rare and beautiful colours, while staying true to the temperament, health, and structure that make Labradors so exceptional.
Our Commitment to the Breed
At Countryview Labradors, we are dedicated to preserving the integrity and excellence of the Labrador Retriever breed, with an emphasis on health, temperament, and conformation.
All of our adult dogs participate in thorough health evaluations to ensure they meet our high standards for breeding. We work closely with trusted veterinary professionals to maintain the well-being and soundness of every dog in our program.
Our commitment to responsible, health-focused practices allows us to produce Labradors that are well-balanced, healthy, and exceptional companions.
Raising Well-Rounded Puppies
We believe the early stages of a puppy’s life are critical for their lifelong success. To help our puppies become confident, adaptable, and socially well-adjusted, we incorporate:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
Exposure to various household sounds, textures, and environments
Puppy yoga classes at 6–7 weeks of age
These experiences prepare our puppies for their new homes and help them thrive in any environment.
